A-B, 1822-1832 Grantor: James Adams FHL Microfilm 0944081 Grantee: Samuel Woods Entry No. 840, Pg. 32 Date: 21 Feb 1823 Certificiate Warrant #1775 This Indenture made this 21st day of February in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty three Between James Adams of the County of Pendleton & State of South Carolina on the one part & Samuel Woods of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Adams for and in Consideration of the sum of two hundred & eighty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold aliened and conveyed a quit claim unto the said Samuel Woods of all the right title & interest of a Certain tract or parcel of land held by Virtue of Entry No. 840 Dated the 24th of July 1821 founded on Certificate Warrant No. 1775 issued by the Commissioners of West Tennessee for 453 acres.
