Jarrett, Clk Fee, $1.25 Paid For and in Consideration of the sum of Eleven Hundred And Fifty Dollars To be paid by three promissory note of even date: First note Three hundred dollars Due Dec. 1st, 1929; Second note Four hundred and twenty-five dollars Due Nov. 1st, 1930; Third and last note Four hundred and twenty-five Dollars Due Nov. 1st, 1931. Each note bearing 6% interest from date. It is futher agreed and understood that there is a vendors lien retined by each note until fully paid. We, W. B. Everett and wife Essie Everett have bargained and sold, and by these presents do transfer and convey unto heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in 3d Civil District, Carroll County, State of Tennessee, as follows: Beginning on B. F. Johnson's east boundary line - 5ft due west of a peach tree bearing a corner mark; thence north with said Johnson line 44 pole to a stake, the same being the said Johnson's north east corner on Tom Gilbert's south boundary line; thence east with the said Gilbert's line 90 poles & 23 links to a stake with sassafras pts. Thence south 44 poles to a stake in J.R. McDonald's field; thence west 90 poles & 23 links to the beginning corner, containing by estimation 25 acres, to be the same more or less. It being the same property conveyed to us by J. C. Everett and wife Sallie Bob Everett on 2nd day Feb 1924. And made a matter of record at Huntingdon, Tenn. On 4th day of Feb. 1924. Deed Book #54 page 327. To have and to hold the said tract of land, with the appurtenances, estate, title, and interest thereto belonging to the said A. L. Johnson his heirs and assigns, forever. And we do covenant with the said A. L. Johnson that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land in fee simple; have a good right to convey it, and the same is unincumbered. And we do further covenant and bind ourselves heirs and rep4resentatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land to the said A. L. Johnson his heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. Witness our hands, this 27th day of September 1929. Witness W. B. Everett having appeared before me privately and apart from her husband the said Essie Everett of the said instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint from her said husband, and for the purposes therein expressed.
