Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of One Hundred and twenty five dollars to me paid in hand by the Sd. ( Said ) ) ANDERSON the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed to the Sd. ( said ) ANDERSON a certain tract or parcel of land Situated in Carroll County in 12th District in ( ? ) Section and 5 Range On the Waters of Crooked Creek Beginning On a Blackgum then North 23 Deg. West 230 poles to a Blackgum in the North Boundary of Said trace -- thence West 24 poles to a hickory thence South 200 poles to a Stake thence East 136 poles to the beginning lying on the East boundary line of a 1000 acre Survey in the Name of _____________tract containing one hundred acres be the Sum more or less and I the Sd. ( Said ) FIELDS do warrant and agre for myself my heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend to the Sd. ( Said ) ANDERSON his heirs and assigns forever from all persons claiming the same to the only use of him the Sd. ( Said ) ANDERSON and assigns with all the advantages appertaining theseto. Who being eleted ___ and Sworn will and truly to try this ( sic: " expus" ) joined between the parties aforesaid upon this oath do say that they find this ___ in favor of the Plaintiff and that they find for the the Plaintiff the Sum of One hujndred and Ten Dollars ( ? the Debtors ) this Plaintiffs declaration mentioned and also the Sum of One Dollar & fifty five cents damages occured by reason of the detention of said Debt. It is threfore considered by the Court that the Plaintiff recover of the Defendants the Sum of one hundred and Eleven Dollars and fifty five cents the debt and damages aforesaid by the Jury in form of one sixth together with the costs in his behalf expended & the Defendants in Mercy ____ **********************************
